Physiotherapy Education Session Presented by MOC

Murdoch Orthopaedic Clinic recently held a Physiotherapy Education Session, with 95 physiotherapists attending.  The event was  hosted by St John of God Murdoch and physiotherapists came from all over the metropolitan area and outer areas from Mandurah to Wanneroo.  A wide variety of topics were covered including warning signs for acute ankle injuries, obesity and hip/knee arthritis, glenohumeral dislocation in teenagers and what to look out for in regards to sarcomas appearing in the arms and legs.

The discussions were interactive, with each topic providing time for Q & A discussion.  Half way through the presentations, it was time for a change of pace and the race was on to find who could answer the most picture questions for the “Doctors Pop Quiz”!  Congratulations to Indra & Ghislene from Physiotherapy West on winning the pop quiz, with 17 out of 19 questions answered correctly!

We look forward to holding more interactive education sessions in the near future.  If you would like to be kept informed of future sessions, or have feedback on topics you would like to hear about at our next event, please email our Practice Manager, Sandy Hatton (sandy.hatton@murdochorthopaedic.com.au).
