“We believe it's our turn to give back by providing students with medical education and ‘real world’ experience.”

With the array of expertise within our Clinic, most of our surgeons provide onsite education and clinician experience to Year 4 Medical Students from the University of Notre Dame.

This education focusses on bone and joint pathology and common musculoskeletal clinical presentations. Rotations with the Murdoch Orthopaedic Surgeons enables the students to expand and improve their understanding of common and important musculoskeletal disorders and develop hands on clinical skills for the diagnosis and management of the various orthopaedic conditions.

The centrepiece of this education is clinic-based, which means students have an enormous advantage where they work one-to-one with a Surgeon in their private consulting rooms, seeing patients and getting invaluable ‘real world’ experience.
