Orthopaedics GP Information Evening
Murdoch Orthopaedic Clinic’s (MOC) surgeons were recently involved in an Orthopaedics GP Education evening, hosted by St John of God Murdoch. The event was well attended with 60 GP’s attending.
The evening commenced with dinner, followed by interactive presentations and case studies on a selection of orthopaedic topics. Six of MOC’s surgeons presented, discussing various topics including when to refer ankle injuries, how to treat unusual hip conditions and how to avoid knee replacements. The content was aimed at providing informative and useful orthopaedic information for GP’s to assess and manage their patients.
We look forward to being involved in future GP education events. In the meantime, we would welcome feedback from GP’s on specific areas of interest for discussion at future education sessions and would also be happy to answer any of your queries about our clinic or individual surgeons.
