COVID-19 – Clinic Procedures

It is often confusing in this ever changing landscape to know what the expectations are for each medical clinic when walking through the door. Here at Murdoch Orthopaedic Clinic we are constantly looking for ways to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible, whilst still maintaining a friendly and functional clinic.  Currently we have the following steps in place:

> Hand sanitiser is provided upon entry to the clinic
> Face masks worn by all staff and patients (unless under 10 years of age)
> Additional and increased cleaning routines
> Waiting room chairs spaced for social distancing

Please call to reschedule your appointment if you are unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms, if you have covid or have been a close contact of someone with covid (as outlined within the Department of Health guidelines).

A huge thank you to our patients and staff who have all worked together to comply with the changes to keep our clinic running smoothly.  As we have all seen, circumstances can change quickly and so we will keep everyone informed of any additional changes/requirements in our clinic as the need arises due to Government mandate or clinic policy changes.
