Mr Jeffcote specialises in knee and lower limb surgery.
Mr. Jeffcote is an Orthopaedic surgeon who was born in the UK and studied medicine both in the UK and here in Australia. He entered the Orthopaedic Training Program in Western Australia in 2003. During training he completed an AOA research fellowship in biomechanics of the knee. After completing his training he engaged in post fellowship training in knee and lower limb surgery.
Mr. Jeffcote is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the state Scientific Convenor of the Australian Orthopaedic Association
Mr. Jeffcote has been involved in many research projects including knee replacement biomechanics, knee ligament balance, patellofemoral stabilization and arthroplasty. He has published research papers in multiple scientific journals and has had presentations at national and internal scientific meetings. His current research interest includes minimizing blood transfusion in joint replacement and increasing patient satisfaction in knee surgery.
He has been in private practice at St John Of Hospital since 2009, The Mount Hospital 2016 and in the public system at Fremantle Hospital since 2007
